New BRIGHTBURN "Indestructible" Clip Teases A Startling Discovery By A Dangerous Alien

It's extraterrestrial vs man-made machine in this new clip from the James Gunn-produced Brightburn; a superhero horror film that flips the classic "alien saves Earth" movie trope completely on its head...

Sony Pictures Entertainment has released a new clip from the James Gunn-produced superhero horror, Brightburn. Directed by David Yarovesky, the upcoming film flips the superhero genre on its head.

Brightburn asks the intriguing question: "What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister?" Well, the previously released red-band extended scene gave us an idea, and it's not pretty.

The latest clip is much more tame than the gruesome diner scene, but still evokes a chilling feeling as we witness this dangerous alien make a startling discovery about his dormant powers.

Written by Brian Gunn and Mark Gunn, Brightburn is directed by David Yarovesky. It stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Matt Jones and Meredith Hagner, and is set to hit theaters on May 24.

Funny when you compare it to Smallville and how freaked out Clark was at his invulnerability early on

I'm not sure if this is a good movie (I almost doubt it), but I still might watch it. After all - it can hardly be worse than BvS. >:)

I heard from multiple trustworthy sources that this wasn't very good.

I recall when they pushed THE DARK KNIGHT producer angle for MOS ... funny how it was no where to be found on BVS or JL.

I’m definitely going to go see this. It’s good to see something that wasn’t already based in a comic book universe on the big screen.
