New Godzilla Designs?

Over at Earth's Mightiest, Angelo has posted a pair of images that are purportedly designs for the new Godzilla. That may not be the case at all, but they certainly look impressive.

The nice thing is that this version of Godzilla is about as far-removed from the 1998 disaster as possible.

I hope these are real. That pic you posted SHAZAM171 is epic! As are the other ones too. If these were real it would be great to see that they were staying true to the classic look while giving it a modernized/realistic touch up. Hopefully Godzilla will return to the big screen in all his glory!

My bad, guys. In all honesty I had no idea that this had been posted over at CBM. I'll be careful in the future when cross-promoting.

Thanks, guys. I will say, however, that the designs are definitely pretty cool looking. THAT would be a very effective Godzilla in the new film.

There are three things that I want from the new Godzilla: a design that definitely suggests the one we've seen for decades, the roar and hopefully the size: this guy's supposed to tower over skyscrapers. If they do that, this will be pretty amazing.

@ED, well in the original pre-american cut Godzilla was 160 feet tall as opposed to the American cut where they said he was 400 feet tall...thats quite a leap in size but somewhere in the middle of that would be cool....Also he needs to fight another monster or the mention of other monsters.

I'm reserving my comments when it is official and if when there is a full body shot. I need to see if this version will still have the same "Megan Fox" waistline like the '98 flick!

hey, you never know Spiderroy if you did that and said it was concept art for the film you might start an internet sensation just like this model. All you have to say is that an "insider" friend showed it to you and told you it was legit and you'll have half the internet talking about it in a few months!
