Beyond Hollywood is reporting that Mike White has dropped out as director of the big screen adaption of Seth Grahame-Smith’s Pride & Prejudice and Zombies.

He claims he is dropping out due to "scheduling conflicts" with an existing commitment with HBO. Says White "I loved the project and looked forward to working with Lionsgate. Unfortunately, the timing could not be worked out. I wish them the best with the movie."

Dustin03 - This news is probably going to be met with mixed feelings. What do you guys think? Who would you like to see as a replacement?

Hope to see it back on track soon. I don't know what direction they want to go for. Either a comedy (Zombieland) or a straigh horror film (28 Days Later) or a over the top bloody mess (From Dusk Till Dawn) or a combination of all three. So the directors I'd like to see would be the ones that would make the most interesting film choices.

Directors I'd like to see...
Lexi Alexander (Punisher: War Zone)

Neil Blomkamp (District 9)

Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get him to the Greek)

Michael Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Green Hornet, Be Kind Rewind)

Nimrod Antal (Predators, Vacanacy, Armored)

I hate the changes. We finally got a comic worthy version and something different for a change, then they had to go and "Nolanize" the stupid thing again.
