Mike White has opted out of directing the upcoming big screen adaption.

Beyond Hollywood is reporting that Mike White has dropped out as director of the big screen adaption of Seth Grahame-Smith’s Pride & Prejudice and Zombies.



He claims he is dropping out due to "scheduling conflicts" with an existing commitment with HBO. Says White "I loved the project and looked forward to working with Lionsgate. Unfortunately, the timing could not be worked out. I wish them the best with the movie."

Dustin03 - This news is probably going to be met with mixed feelings. What do you guys think? Who would you like to see as a replacement?
