Chloë Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass) has shared the first teaser trailer for Roseanne Liang's insane-looking genre hybrid, Shadow in the Cloud.
The WWII-set action thriller focuses on Flight Officer Maude Garrett (Moretz), who hitches a ride on a B-17 with a mission to escort a highly classified package to the plane's destination. Once aboard, the young pilot is not only forced to contend with the sexist crew, but a destructive gremlin intend on wreaking as much havoc as possible.
The premise has drawn comparisons to classic Twilight Zone episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet," and it's easy to see why.
Co-written by Liang and Max Landis (boo, hiss), the movie has its premiere at TIFF earlier this year to a decidedly mixed reaction - although the movie does have a lot of staunch defenders.

Also starring Beulah Koale, Taylor John Smith, Callan Mulvey and Nick Robinson, Vertical Entertainment and Redbox Entertainment are set to release Shadow in the Cloud digitally on January 1st.
