The CW upfronts were held today which gathered a lot of attention with new teasers for
The Flash series and news of the networks other shows.
One thing noticeably lacking from the channels schedule was the
Supernatural spin off
'Bloodlines' which looked likely to receive a series order. News of the spin offs cancelation was bound to upset fans but network head Mark Pedowitz revealed plans to try and create a spin off once more citing that
"We believe that there's a real brand in Supernatural,"
Pedowitz went on to say
"We had six really good pilots this year. We felt that Supernatural [spinoff Bloodlines] just didn’t quite get there, though we do know that people would come to it based on what we saw that night," "I've already spoken to the creator and the studio. They know that we want to develop once more next season, a Supernatural spinoff. What it is and what it isn't yet is still in the air."
Pedowitz remarked that discussions about what that spinoff would be will be determined around June and July.
A new description for Supernatural season 10 was also revealed at todays conference:

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have spent their lives on the road, battling every kind of supernatural threat.
