I was sad for Cas too. I missed the first 40 minutes. So I don't know how he got away, and went into hiding. I am assuming Meg gets him?

@ForceOfLegend No, he was found by a woman in the river, with no memory of being Cas until Dean makes him use his angel powers, and re-named Emanuel.

@MJPETTY7 Oh okay. Yeah I was wondering how they were going to handle him coming back. So his vessel didn't dissolve like we were led to believe? I thought that was pretty crappy ******spoiler alert****** that Dean left him there. Looks like Meg is going to take him now. *****End of Spoiler.****

@ForceOfLegend No, his vessel doesn't dissolve, but they did think that he exploded. He ended up miles from where he blew up, apparently, which is why Dean, Sam, and Bobby didn't go after him, cause they didn't know.
