Tim Heidecker, the co-creator of Adult Swim's horror-comedy series
Tim & Eric's Bedtime Stories, has been cast in Jordan Peele's upcoming horror thriller
Us. It's unclear what sort of role he will have in the film; however, he does join an incredibly talented cast that already
includes Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke, and Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss.
Not much is known about Peele's next project, though the writer/director did
reveal a poster for Us back in May. The tagline teased
"a new nightmare from the mind of Academy Award winner Jordan Peele."
Us is being labeled as a social horror thriller, sort of in the same vein as Peele's previous hit
Get Out. According to
IGN, Peele previously said his next project would
"tonally resemble Get Out" while also addressing
"something different than race."
Despite not knowing what sort of part Heidecker will have in the film, his horror-comedy roots should make him a perfect fit for whatever his role may be.
Us is set to open in theaters on March 15, 2019.
