With speculation swirling that Marvel Studios will finally be able to make a Hulk movie starting next year following a lengthy deal with Universal Pictures, all eyes are on what comes next for the Jade Giant. We know he'll appear alongside his cousin in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, but a recent clip from the show has everyone talking about World War Hulk.
Rumours about a movie adaptation of that classic storyline have persisted for some time now, and a Saakarian spaceship showing up on Earth points to the Green Goliath having unfinished business back on that planet. Comic book fans will, of course, know that comes in the form of a son, Skaar.
Talking at the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premiere, Mark Ruffalo was asked if he's gearing up for a World War Hulk movie. To that, he coyly responded with, "Anytime they want to do it, I'm here."
The interviewer also asked the actor about The Multiverse Saga's final chapter, Avengers: Secret Wars. We don't know if The Hulk will be part of the event movie or even if we're getting World War Hulk before it's released, but Ruffalo seems confident that Marvel Studios will knock it out of the park.
"Well, it's going to be hard to top Endgame, but if I know Kevin and I know Marvel, it's going to be pretty amazing," the actor teases. "We'll go out with a big bang."
Whatever comes next, we're sure The Hulk is going to be an important part of it. She-Hulk also looks set to be a key player in the MCU moving forward, so a team-up is no doubt being planned for some point in the not too distant future. Hopefully, this series sets the stage for that in a big way.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ this Thursday, August 18, and you can watch the full interview with Ruffalo in the Tweet below:
