With speculation swirling that Marvel Studios will finally be able to make a Hulk movie starting next year following a lengthy deal with Universal Pictures, all eyes are on what comes next for the Jade Giant. We know he'll appear alongside his cousin in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, but a recent clip from the show has everyone talking about World War Hulk

Rumours about a movie adaptation of that classic storyline have persisted for some time now, and a Saakarian spaceship showing up on Earth points to the Green Goliath having unfinished business back on that planet. Comic book fans will, of course, know that comes in the form of a son, Skaar.

Talking at the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premiere, Mark Ruffalo was asked if he's gearing up for a World War Hulk movie. To that, he coyly responded with, "Anytime they want to do it, I'm here."

The interviewer also asked the actor about The Multiverse Saga's final chapter, Avengers: Secret Wars. We don't know if The Hulk will be part of the event movie or even if we're getting World War Hulk before it's released, but Ruffalo seems confident that Marvel Studios will knock it out of the park.

"Well, it's going to be hard to top Endgame, but if I know Kevin and I know Marvel, it's going to be pretty amazing," the actor teases. "We'll go out with a big bang."

Whatever comes next, we're sure The Hulk is going to be an important part of it. She-Hulk also looks set to be a key player in the MCU moving forward, so a team-up is no doubt being planned for some point in the not too distant future. Hopefully, this series sets the stage for that in a big way.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ this Thursday, August 18, and you can watch the full interview with Ruffalo in the Tweet below:

It almost seems like they’re moving towards writing his character off, and even if there is a World War Hulk movie, I’ll feel like it’s too premature. So many Hulk stories haven’t been told, just like w/ Tony and Steve. Idk, I’ve personally always been in the recast and move forward camp. Killing off or writing off characters that should go on and on just seems wrong.

One Hulk movie will not satiate my Hulk appetite

So, they're killing him off on Secret Wars I assume?
I wouldn't be surprised. The character has been mostly wasted in the MCU. *sigh*

@Feralwookiee - I don't think anyone is hinting at Hulk dying. When he says "We'll go out with a bang" he's talking about the MCU as a whole with the final chapter of the Multiverse Saga. He isn't talking about Hulk's character specifically.

@CorndogBurglar - that said, I do think Secret Wars will be the last we see of the Hulk, unless we see him down the road as old man Hulk.

Maybe he stays on Battleworld instead of Ben Grimm.

@MachinimaMan - hey, that's not a bad piece of speculation.

I could actually see that happen

@bkmeijer1 - Same, I think if Ben stays that would be fine too cause then it would make sense for She-Hulk to appear as an F4 member down the line.

@MachinimaMan - think they'll do a few more movies with both The Thing and She-Hulk in their respective places in the universe, but I do think it would be cool to see She-Hulk on FF member eventually

People keep mentioning the space ship on earth and tying it to WWH. But wasn't WWH taking place on Earth, with Hulk seeking revenge for being booted off planet? I don't see how the current universe Hulk would ever be involved in WWH. I guess Planet Hulk could have been speculated except we saw much of that during Ragnarok. Maybe he does end-up off-world again anyway.

I guess what i'm saying is that i don't understand where people are pulling WWH from suddenly haha.

@TheManWithoutFear - I don't know either. Banner chose to leave Earth on his own in Avengers 2. So he has no reason to be mad at anyone on Earth.

The only thing I can think of is the reason that Hulk refused to come out during Infinity War. Maybe Hulk gets mad that he's constantly being locked away. Even Professor Hulk, even though it's Hulk's body, is still Banner in control with the Hulk persona being pushed down and locked up.

So maybe that's why he gets mad? Because humans don't accept him, and because Banner keeps him locked up and hidden away. So he finally gets tired of it and Hulk's persona overpowers Banners and he goes on a Rampage.

@TheManWithoutFear - Maybe Skaar comes to earth to kill his dad and a war between Hulks becomes a WWH in a way. Same title different interpretation. I would want to see original story but that would take some major changes.
