Deadline reports that Shane Black's Iron Man 3 will cross the $1 billion mark tomorrow at the worldwide box office after only 23 days of release. The latest numbers have its domestic cume at $294.7 million (after 14 days) and $685.6 million internationally. These figures make it the 16th biggest film of all-time and analysts are already predicting that it will ultimately become the 5th highest grossing film of all-time by the end of its theatrical run. In comparison, Marvel's The Avengers took only 19 days to cross $1 billion, but Iron Man 3 has actually outperformed the superhero ensemble in a number of international territories including China, Korea, and the Ukraine.
