Aquaman Heads Beneath The Sea In Another Awesome New JUSTICE LEAGUE Image

Another new Justice League image has surfaced today and it takes us beneath the sea as Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) makes his way through the depths of Atlantis! Hit the jump for this latest look at Aquaman.

One of the most exciting things about Justice League is getting to visit Atlantis for the first time. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice featured a brief glimpse of Aquaman's undersea adventures but it was clearly filmed in a water tank with actor Jason Momoa holding his breath. This movie, however, will show us the amazing technology being utilised for Aquaman ahead of its release next December.

Now, a brand new image from the movie has been released which shows Arthur Curry in action as he blasts through the sea, presumably on the way to stop Steppenwolf from gaining Atlantis' Mother Box.

We've actually seen this shot in GIF form before now but if you're looking for a new Aquaman themed wallpaper, this is arguably a must-have! There's less than a month to go until Justice League is released and we'll hopefully see even more of Aquaman before then (not to mention Amber Heard's Mera). What do you guys think of this new image from the movie? Share your thoughts in the usual place.

@Ha1frican - I don't see why anyone would be worried about the underwater stuff. It's been done before and even that Harry Potter movie had some great underwater scenes.

@obredaan - yeah but not to the extent thta it would need to be done in Aquaman and not with the fluidity of physics of how an atlantean would move breathe and speak underwater. Harry Potter did it well but it still looked like people holding their breath and with the soft looking eyes people get underwater when they are trying not to blink. Plus Atlanteans move very differently underwater than a human would so just putting them in a tank doesnt really work work like it does in HP or other movies

@Kyos - I like it but it seems like an odd choice if that isnt an atleantean trait which it doesnt look like it is bc from what we've seen so far Mera and the others dont have eyes like that, maybe its a play on him being mixed race/species and having weird recessive genes emerging but if its just for looks then yeah im not really feeling it

Looks really cool! Honestly a bit worried for the Aquaman movie because I'm not sure how they plan on doing the underwater scenes especially since it's something we've not seen much of - definitely not much that is well done

Is it just me or does Jason Momoa's hair get shorter when he's doing the underwater scenes?

Nice shot though
