First Clips From JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION Showcase A Very Different Tone To JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED
With the premiere of Justice League Action just a few short weeks away, Cartoon Network has now debuted the first three clips from the show, and they're probably not quite what you were expecting.
Following the beloved legacies of Justice League and its sequel series Justice League Unlimited is no easy task, but that's exactly what the next DC Comics animated series, Justice League Action, will have to do when it premieres on November 27th.
However, if you were hoping for a Justice League redux that brought us back to the Golden Age of DC animation, well, you may want to temper your expectations just a bit as the first three clips strongly suggest the series will forge a considerably different path, with a tone much better suited to a younger demographic.
The series will feature the returns of both Kevin Conroy & Mark Hamill as the voices of the Batman & Joker, respectively. It will also star Jason J. Lewis as the voice of Superman, Rachel Kimsey as the voice of Wonder Woman, James Woods as the voice of Lex Luthor, Josh Keaton as the voice of Green Lantern, and Khary Payton as the voice of Cyborg. Other characters confirmed to make appearances throughout the course of the series are Brainiac, Harley Quinn, Darkseid, Firestorm, Hawkman, Zatanna, Lobo, Vixen, and Mr. Freeze.
