It Sounds Like We'll See A Member Of The Green Lantern Corps In JUSTICE LEAGUE After All
A new report claims to shed some light on the roles of Cyborg, Darkseid, and a certain member of the Green Lantern Corps in Zack Snyder's Justice League, and you can find the latest details here...
For years now, rumours have swirled about when we'll finally see a new version of Green Lantern on the big screen. He was supposed to show up in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice at one point, and later reports of a cameo in Justice League were seemingly debunked when the movie's producers said that we may not even get to see him in the second instalment of that superhero team-up franchise.
However, in a new breakdown about the movie over at The Wrap, the site mentions that, "A member of the Green Lantern Corps. will be seen in 'Justice League' in a key sequence." No further details are specified, so we have no idea which member of the Corps this will be. It could even be an alien who shows up as we've heard absolutely nothing about someone being cast as Hal Jordan or John Stewart.
The site also mentions that, "Darkseid's presence will loom large in 'Justice League' as the film's prologue introduces the New God while ancient Amazonians, Atlanteans, and pre-historic humans fight him off Earth." I'm pretty sure we've heard similar reports elsewhere, though the mention of Cyborg having a, "Battle Mode and also a civilian mode" is very intriguing. However, doesn't him being able to disguise himself in public take away a big part of the hero's struggle with his new form?
Time will tell, but be sure to share your thoughts on this Justice League news in the usual place.
