JUSTICE LEAGUE BTS Photo Provides Another Look At Superman Actor Henry Cavill's Mustache

A new Justice League BTS photo of Henry Cavill in his Superman costume pre-CGI disaster face has been revealed, and it gives us another look at the actor sporting that much-discussed facial hair...

Warner Bros. removing Henry Cavill's Mission: Impossible - Fallout facial hair for Justice League via some seriously dodgy CGI may go down as one of the worst decisions in cinema history, but a lot of fans were still eager to get a look at the actor suited-up as The Man of Steel before any 'tache-altering post production took place.

We did get a blurry first glimpse back in April (which many still believe to be an April Fools gag), but now a much clearer behind-the-scenes shot has found its way online via Reddit.

Okay, so Supers flying around with a lip-warmer may have looked a bit strange, but it wouldn't have been half as ridiculous as the malformed monstrosity that greeted us when the movie hit theaters.

What do you guys think? Would you have been happier if Supes had kept his mustache? Should they have given the character a full beard, perhaps? Drop us a comment down below.

Fuelled by his restored faith in humanity, and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly-awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes in Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash, it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Honestly, he looks awesome and badass. Why spend millions of dollars to ruin everything. They could have left it this way.

I don't know why they were scared to do the bearded Superman. Either let Cavill grow some heavy stubble with his already established mustache, or give him a fake one.

Would've been better than what we got.

@KWilly - exactly! At least let him have the beard when he comes back from the dead then they could have just concentrated on making the cgi good for scenes when he arrives to fight Steppenwolf and after.

WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST ADD A FAKE BEARD ON RATHER THAN TRYING TO GET RID OF HIS 'STACHE?!

Also why is it a couple of random dudes on YouTube did an infinitely better job than the literally professional VFX company that actually worked on Superstache with less software and no money?

Also, why was that the movie we ended up with?

Its still hard to fathom just how MUCH OF A JOKE JL was. And a mustache contributed to that...

You would think MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE could figure out a sensible way to replace his mustache had he shaved or trimmed it enough though... I mean disguises are literally THEIR THING.

@KNIGHT3OOO - or you'd think WB could... With that budget and production. It's not MI fault...Cavill was supposed to be done with Justice league

Despite how JL turned out, I think WB should forge ahead with MOS 2. And include Cyborg in a major supporting role.

I really wish they would commit to doing another supermaan flic with Cavill. I mean he just simply IS superman. Just do it right, a traditional supes film in the vein of the animated series.

They should have just added to the beard. In the comics at least, he wasn’t completely dead if I recall correctly. Therefore his hair continued to grow giving is Superman with long hair for a while in the 90’s. Same rationale could be applied here. In fact, he should have had a beard in the comics when the Eradictor revived him.
