JUSTICE LEAGUE Director Zack Snyder Teases "Book 1" With A New Shot Of A Beefed Up Ben Affleck As Batman

Zack Snyder is teasing the launch of Justice League "Book 1" on HBO Max with a new look at Ben Affleck's Dark Knight, and it's fair to say that Batfleck is looking like an absolute beast. Check it out!

We still don't have a specific release date for Zack Snyder's Justice League, but do know that it's coming to HBO Max in March. Now, the filmmaker has taken to Vero to tease "Book 1," the title (we're assuming) of the first chapter in the four-part event series which is coming to the streaming service.

While we don't know whether this shot is from the reshoots or when Snyder originally shot the movie, Ben Affleck looks like an absolute beast suited up as Batman here.

During a recent interview with TheFilmJunkee, the director was asked about the marketing campaign for Justice League, and hinted that it won't really kick off until after the Wonder Woman 1984 hype has died down. "I have an idea of what it might be, but it's going to be cool, maybe something you don't expect, so that's fun. After that, you can expect probably another big trailer coming soon and then whatever other cool activations we have, so it's going to get pretty crazy!"

"Everybody's got to get out and see Wonder Woman and just love it because it's amazing, I'm just super proud," Snyder added, making it clear the focus is very much on that DC Film for now.

some awesome, comic accurate cosplay!

10. Catwoman - @m_mellu

We've seen a few different iterations of Catwoman on screen up until this point, but none of them have been entirely comic accurate. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like that will change in The Batman.

It would be amazing seeing something like this, though, because this take on Selina Kyle is absolutely perfect. There's no reason this wouldn't work on screen, so who knows why it's yet to happen.

9. Shadowcat - @hendoart

The X-Men are on their way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and we can only hope that they finally don some comic accurate costumes. For Kitty (Kate) Pryde, what about this classic number?

This looks absolutely phenomenal here, and it's not remotely difficult to picture an actress decked out in this alongside a CGI Lockheed. Shadowcat needs to return to the big screen ASAP, regardless.

8. Nightwing - @dynamitewebber

Nightwing's costume in Titans...is fine. However, it also looks like it was created on a TV budget, and there are arguably better ways this fan-favourite former Robin could be portrayed in live-action.

There's something special about this effort, and we'd strongly recommend checking out @dynamitewebber's Instagram page for more eye-catching takes on Batman's many sidekicks.

7. X-23 - @vamp

It goes without saying that we obviously didn't expect young Dafne Keene to wear a costume like this in Logan, but for an older version of Laura, this is a pitch perfect take on Wolverine's clone.

While X-23 has donned her own version of Wolvie's costume in recent years, but this is how the hero looked when she was first introduced, and bringing that to the big screen would be no bad thing.

6. Elektra - @elizabethrage

Elektra has made four live-action appearances (in Daredevil, Elektra, and the Daredevil and Defenders TV show), and while her costumes have never been awful, there's definite room for improvement.

We understand not wanting to objectify an actress by putting her in a skimpy effort like this, but part of the reason Elektra doesn't need an armoured costume is because she's such a formidable warrior.

5. The Juggernaut - @bdcharacterlab

This literally looks like an action figure come to life, and we love it! While some changes would have to be made for something like this to work on screen, it's still better than what Vinnie Jones wore.

2018's Deadpool 2 brought back The Juggernaut, but made him more of a mindless goon than anything else. In the MCU, we'd like to see his past and powers explored in a far more in-depth manner.

4. Black Cat - @rolyatistaylor

This is a fairly simple take on Black Cat, and in all honestly, it doesn't take a lot to beat Felicia Hardy's street clothes in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. However, while it may not be fancy, we love this version.

It's definitely comic accurate, and that's a big win when it comes to a character like Black Cat. It's difficult to imagine ever seeing this classic costume in live-action, so this cosplay will have to do.

3. Invisible Woman - @inir_k

During Disney's recent Investor Day, it was confirmed that a new Fantastic Four movie is coming from director Jon Watts. We don't know when it's coming, but we want costumes as cool as this one!

This is pure, classic Fantastic Four, and the model here looks awesome as Sue Storm, the Invisible Women. When it comes to Marvel's First Family, if it ain't broke, Marvel Studios shouldn't try to fix it.

2. Mystique - @ashlynnedae

Barb2214431331q121312123

For the most part, fans have grown bored of seeing Mystique in the X-Men movies. It's easy enough to see why, but would you really say "no" to a comic accurate version like this jaw-dropping effort?

This is arguably how Mystique should be portrayed, and we really don't need to head down the "scales" route again. You can check out more, NSFW photos of this impressive cosplay by clicking here.

1. Black Cat - Faerie Blossom

Black Cat 🖤 . . . [Advertisement/Anzeige] Suit kindly designed and printed by my buddies from @herostime2013 ❤️🥰 . . It...

Posted by Faerie Blossom on Saturday, February 16, 2019

This second Black Cat cosplay is based on the Spider-Man video game rather than the comic books, but if Sony Pictures is looking to head down a more "realistic" route, we'd be on board with this.

The costume looks absolutely superb in live-action, and if Faerie Blossom has any acting experience, perhaps she could play Felicia Hardy too? Either way, we're 100% impressive by this take on the hero.
