There were a lot of cool cameos, references and Easter Eggs in Justice League, but yet another one of them has been spotted. In one of the S.T.A.R. Labs videos played by Bruce Wayne and Alfred, Dr. Silas Stone can be seen experimenting on his son and one of the names which pops up on the screen as a S.T.A.R. Labs employee is "Choi, Ryan." He's obviously better known to fans as the fourth Atom.
Introduced by Gail Simone and Grant Morrison in 2006's DCU: Brave New World, the character hails from Hong Kong and moved to Ivy Town after his friend and mentor Ray Palmer vanished. Eventually, he gained some of Ray's tech and became the new Atom (a role he's also fulfilled in DC Rebirth).
While this is obviously a relatively minor Easter Egg, it's interesting to think that Ryan is out there somewhere and that the door has now been opened to him making some sort of appearance elsewhere in the DC Films Universe. When and where that might happen is impossible to say but Flashpoint is a possibility as is the Cyborg movie if and when it eventually happens. Time will tell!
Did you guys catch this surprising cameo appearance? As always, let us know your thoughts below.
