JUSTICE LEAGUE Star Seemingly Says The Movie Will NOT Be Better Than THE AVENGERS

Warner Bros. won't like this! One of the stars of Batman v Superman and Justice League was recently asked if the latter will top The Avengers, and their answer is pretty shocking...

We're used to actors towing the company line when it comes to talking about the movies they're in, but there are those who can get away with saying whatever they like, something Jeremy Irons made clear last year when he slated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Well, it's now Diane Lane's turn!

During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, a caller asked Lane is she could share any Justice League spoilers and if the movie will be better than The Avengers. Her answer? "No, and no. Short but honest - I hate to disappoint, but..." Now, it's possible she was saying "No, and no" solely to the request for plot spoilers, but it really does sound like she was answering both parts of the question and you can see that for yourself at the 1:40 mark in the video below.

Lane not thinking Justice League is better than The Avengers isn't the end of the world, but it's hard to believe she's seen even a rough cut as of yet. Perhaps she was unimpressed with Martha Kent's role or the script in general, but it may not be worth taking these comments too seriously. What do you think?

The Posters for Wonder Woman here in London have a review from the Daily Star giving it 4 Stars, calling it Superhero Movie of the Year.

The Daily Star is a trash newspaper though
