@Doomsday8888 - Except he's not really leading in any of these? He's been pushed to the back.

They messed up and rushed Superman's death so him returning really means nothing, there was no true emotional connection when he died and there will be no real emotional connection when he returns.

It also undermines the potential threat they are facing, given Superman has died once they wont kill him again so we know he'll win every fight - the emotional stakes are gone for him. It's not even a 'faked his death' situation, he died and now he's back.

Even if Wonder Woman is lucky to be the DCEU's first good movie, it wont change the absolutely terrible mess of the three 'films' that preceeded it and it's affect on Superman and Batman's character.

Despite the bright, clean, colourful, Wonder-woman styled marketing here - Justice League is more similar in visuals to Batman V Superman so they definitely want you to think Justice League is going to be more like Wonder Woman.

@Scarilian - yeah you're right. I was so hoping that they would have all the various Supermen that we'd have to sit through them fleshing out while getting back to the standard Supes. /s

@scapegoatjones -

I get you are trying to be sarcastic, but your point does not apply to anything i have said. As per my comment above, i just wish they would have given us a proper sequel to Man Of Steel before killing off Superman. I would have liked to see the Death Of Superman storyline adapted, except they should have developed him first. Maybe even made it similar to the comics and have him die when he's known by other heroes, have them all show up at his funeral other than just Diana and Bruce.

The first movie was developing that he was not human and was trying to be human, i expected we'd get a second movie where we get to see him being human - instead BvS made him more of an all-powerful alien with only his relationship with Lois grounding him.

@MonsieurClunge -
Not sure what you are trying to say with that pic.

@MonsieurClunge -

Record in the picture is complete and not broken.

Though in regards to your 'broken record' comment - the only reason it feels that way is because the majority, including DCEU fans have remarked that it felt like it was too soon and done poorly.

Just like the 'Martha' joke, the remarks about Lex Luthor, the remarks about Leto's Joker and the memes about Batman killing - it will always have a level of validity and remain.

@capcyclopsftw - *Photoshopped. And badly. Looks like they did a re-shoot and plopped him in, SO out of place. I'm also still laughing at all the people who said he wold have a black suit and long hair and a beard. That was NEVER going to happen.

@Scarilian - yea I was being sarcastic. but what I'm not sarcastic about was what a waste of time the Death of Superman storyline was anyway. Much like Bane breaking Bat's spine, Doomsday was just another throw C+ villain used to illustrate an unneeded plot pursuit. now that they've buried Clark they can focus on Superman dealing with some legit interstellar problems worthy of the character's time investment.

@Scarilian - if the gif decided to work, you would have seen it was a broken record continuously spinng playing the same track over and over again.
