Well, at least some of you won't have seen this coming!
HBO Max has lifted the embargo on social media reactions for Zack Snyder's Justice League, and there's not a single bad verdict among them. We have a huge selection of opinions here, from fansites to the Hollywood trades, everyone agrees: the "Snyder Cut" blows the 2017 version out of the water.
That four-hour runtime has clearly benefitted Justice League, and those of you worrying about a bloated, overlong movie needn't have. In fact, it sounds like an epic experience of every level, though it will be interesting seeing how the reviews compare when they start hitting Rotten Tomatoes at 5pm PT tomorrow.
Of course, you'll be able to check back here then for our verdict as well! Things are definitely looking good for this cut of Justice League right now (we even got an epic new trailer earlier today), and it's easy to imagine the new #ReleaseTheSnyderCut being #RestoreTheSnyderVerse.
In Zack Snyder's Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.
Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions. The movie premieres on HBO Max on March 18th.
