Justice League production designer Patrick Tatopoulos has provided EW with a batch of new concept artwork which gives fans with an insight into the original plans for some of the film's big action set pieces.
SPOILERS: The Main Characters Of JUSTICE LEAGUE Ranked From Least To Most Memorable

Team Dynamics
The newly-formed League (sans Superman) takes the fight to the ferocious parademons with a little help from the Batmobile's firepower. The battle sequences were all choreographed with the movement of each individual superhero in mind.
Batman And Beyond
Tatopoulos also worked on Batman V Superman, and created an entirely new look for The Dark Knight and the world he inhabits. For Justice League, however, he had to expand his horizons to include the rest of the team. “The great thing about Justice League was more about: ‘What is the palette for Flash’s world? What is the palette for Wonder Woman’s world? What about the world of Aquaman?’ ”
Under Fire
It seems Batman's formidable new vehicle, The Knightcrawler, has several tricks up its sleeve that we never got to see in the finished film. "We built the whole cockpit of this thing so we could shoot it with the actors,” says Tatopoulos. “It’s part of all the fun sequences in the film, and [I think] people are going to love it.”
Amazon Nation
This shot depicts Queen Hippolyta and her Amazons awaiting the arrival of Steppenwolf, who proceeds to decimate many of the warrior women and retrieve the mother box they had been safeguarding for a very long time. This turned out to be one of the most impressive action sequences in the movie.
Team Transport
Here we see a cross-section view of Batman's enormous Flying Fox, which we spend quite a lot of time on in Justice League as it serves as a base of operations of sorts for the team.
In The Cockpit
Another image which never materialized into an actual shot from the film sees Batman piloting The Flying Fox alongside Wonder Woman, while Aquaman takes in the view behind them.
Making The Jet
A look at Bruce Wayne in the cockpit. Tatopoulos actually built the entire interior of The Flying Fox using mesh and structured steel so you can see in between all three floors.
This Is The Team
And finally, as a little added bonus, we have a recent EW cover which gives us a new look at The League assembled... again, sans Man of Steel.
