JUSTICE LEAGUE: New Banner Places Superman Front And Center With The Rest Of The Team

Another banner for Justice League has found its way online today and it features a fresh look at the team as they're finally joined by Superman, a character whose return remains a mystery to us all...

Warner Bros. released the final trailer for Justice League earlier this month and much to the surprise of pretty much everyone, the studio resisted spoiling Superman's return. While Clark Kent did appear, the method of his inevitable resurrection remains a mystery and that's no bad thing as we get closer to the November 17th release of the movie (which now clashes with the debut of The Punisher on Netflix).

While we do get what appear to be fresh shots of heroes like Aquaman and The Flash, Superman has been lifted straight from that promo image which was released at Comic-Con way back in 2016.

That's probably because Henry Cavill didn't pose for anywhere near as many photos due to the Man of Steel not being featured on posters and promo art for the most part. There's also a chance he'll be getting a new suit so you can understand why the studio has decided to keep that under wraps for now. How do you think Superman will return in Justice League? Are you guys excited for the movie?

Technically Batman is front and center, not Superman.

middle and center?

@BinZin - This looks like one of those fan edits that forcefully insert Superman where he doesn't belong

@Griela - it really does, i have been really disappointed with movie posters for a long time. I think my favorite lately have been Gotg 2 and Thor Ragnarok, just because they were different. I think Age of Ultron had a good Imax poster, but that is about it in the comic book movie poster department.

The Alex Ross posters weren't bad either. You would think a visual art form like comics would have the best movie posters around!

Anybody else confused why Superman stands in the background while Batman prepares to fight on the front lines? :P

I guess he's thinking "Yeah I died last time. I'll sit this one out."

"Don't worry guys, I've had prep time."

@ImmovableForce - why is the flash standing still, i mean he's super fast right?

@ImmovableForce - Cause he brings the team together and Superman probably doesn't show up until way later. He's the leader and guiding force of this picture considering Superman is "dead" and all. By they end they will have a mutual understanding, Batman will accordingly respect Superman, and they will all then form a workplace bond in a water cooler moment.

@Beetleborg - Plus Aquaman's not underwater and Wonder Woman doesn't look like she's wondering much.

@ImmovableForce - cause superman is only a memory so far... not in the flesh.
Origame

@ImmovableForce - Because it's a recycled image of Superman from the first official image of the cast. I have a feeling this has something to do with his actual appearance since it makes no sense for this big budget franchise to just recycle an image for a character they only had one appearance for in marketing if it was for cost saving.
Origame

@Beetleborg - And he is using that superspeed. The rest of the team thinks they're going to save the day but by the time they realize what's going on, Flash won.
Beetleborg
Beetleborg - 10/19/2017, 3:48 PM
@Origame - if he was using superspeed, his image would not be able to be captured
Origame
Origame - 10/19/2017, 4:13 PM
@Beetleborg - No. He's going so fast there and back the camera wasn't able to pick up when he was gone.
Beetleborg
Beetleborg - 10/19/2017, 6:55 PM
@Origame - so he's standing still? So then NOT using superspeed

@Beetleborg - Really dude? youre putting too much thought into my joke.

He kinda looks out of place.

I hope this movie just surprises the hell out of all of us.

@BinZin - Well that image is recycled from the original group shot.
