JUSTICE LEAGUE Star Ray Fisher Reveals The Only Scene He Was In That Wasn't Reshot

Ray Fisher continues to speak out against Joss Whedon's version of Justice League, revealing the one scene he was part of that wasn't reshot in some way by the man who replaced Zack Snyder as director!

Ray Fisher continues to make headlines, and recently caused quite the stir after levelling more damning accusations against Justice League reshoots director Joss Whedon. The actor now claims to be looking into why former Forbes writer Sheraz Farooqi is no longer working for the site, and why his comments about the director changing an actor's skin tone have been removed.

That's something we will keep you updated on in the coming days, but Geek Show House recently spoke to Fisher and pushed him for details on the extent of those reshoots.

Surprisingly, the actor alleges that every single scene he was in ended up being reshot...expect one. The scene in question saw the League meet with Gotham City Police Commissioner Jim Gordon, though it was clear watching the film that even parts of that were altered by Whedon down the line.

"It's hard to tell with certain shots of other people for scenes that I wasn't there for, but what I can tell you from my character and from what you saw in the theatrical version that every single scene, with the exception of the Gotham City police rooftop scene with Commissioner Gordon and Batman and Flash; every single scene that I'm in was reshot. I reshot almost the entire film on my end."

It's unclear what Fisher may or may not be getting at here, though he's previously alluded to his race being a factor in the way both he and the Cyborg character were treated in Justice League.

Boo-Hoo

What could have help is if he put some effort into not looking pissed off the entire movie. Like seriously even in that snyder cut reshoot poster thing, he kind of looks pissed off

@dracula - maybe that’s got to do with the direction the film went in? His Mother and Father both dying? Him being a robotic freak?

Would be out of place for him to be running around with a smile...

@Se4M4NSt4ine - not saying smile all the time, but Cyborg can have more than 1 emotion.

The doom patrol version did
The teen titans animated series version did

@dracula - What is the time frame of the movie though, like over a few days? If the "end of the world" is coming, and you are a robot (I cant believe I just typed that), and have to deal with all of that.. What would your emotions be? He did have one scene with Gal Gadot that he had a more pleasant attitude, after the he got into it with Aquaman. How much smiling/not pissed offness would have been enough?

@dracula - yes and no.

That’s like comparing Adam West Batman to Tim Burton Batman.

It’s depends on the tone of the overall film. And the tone of that film isn’t overall happy...

@Se4M4NSt4ine - Why is his dad dead in the first place? His dad has been a part of his life and story arc for decades.

@dracula - the requirement for a snyder film is to have every character brood. Whedon added all the comical scenes with Flash gravedigging and laughing with Superman at the ending. All the scenes in the beginning were trimmed down versions of Snyder's Cut.

@Battabing - I don’t know, I’m not defending the decisions of the film.

Just stating the tone of the film wasn’t exactly fitting for an accurate Cyborg anyway.

This seems a bit of a stretch for a Fisher article? He‘a just answering what he reshot.

Probably the most professional he’s talked about the theatrical cut.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - "Probably the most professional he’s talked about the theatrical cut"

He probably got a legal spanking for that interview, and was forced to have a reality check.

Sounds about right, Snyder must've shot a 4+ hour movie, and no matter how much you try you can't condense it into a 2 hour movie, so you gotta start from scratch basically.

That's pretty insane if what the DP says was true. Don't know how they thought this movie was going to be any good.

So this kind of goes against his racism accusation. So hes going out of his way to remove minorities from the movie because they're minorities (changing skin color in post or just cutting them out) yet is also putting in more effort to work with another minority who has more screentime anyway?

Oh the sound of crumbling narrative.

By the way Snyder killed Silas Stone, Joss saved him.

Kept the one supporting black role that actually contributed to the plot and expanded it

Cyborg used to be a cool and vital character with the Titans, but with the League he has become a redundancy. Big waste of a perfectly good character.

Although still 'displaced', at least he was better developed in the Doom Patrol TV show.

I'm actually old enough to remember, when people wanted Geoff Johns to be the "Kevin Feige" of the DCEU.🤣 Who knew he'd end up being so terrible at the job.

In Snyder's films he doesn't think less is more so he used a justice league film to give Cyborg his whole back story and you still had the task of bringing the team together and making them play nice with each other. I can see why Ray's scenes were reshot

I for one am getting tired of this guy's endless second-hand, veiled allegations. I'd be in full support if he could provide actual accounts of what he says happened, but even the examples he gives are without much detail.

My father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate told me that those reshots meant I was being discriminated against.

Sounds like a guy who hears from his friend that some dude over two blocks from him said something about his mom, and goes to knock him out, only to find out it was never truly said and then justifies it with it, "WELL MY FRIEND SAID IT, SO IT MUST BE TRUE!"
