In his latest post on the Vero app,
Justice League director
Zack Snyder has unveiled a new behind-the-scenes image from the film for fans. This new image focuses on the three armies of Earth that will confront Steppenwolf's (or maybe Darkseid's) army of Parademons at the top of the film.
What's most interesting about this image is it gives us a better look at some more Atlantean soldiers, and most importantly, the
King of Atlantis, who is sporting a three-pronged trident and some very familiar looking armor. Many have pointed out the differences between Aquaman's current outfit and his classic comic attire; could this be the armor and weapon that Arthur will eventually don in his solo film? Since Arthur has yet to become King of Atlantis, it's possible he dons the armor of a traditional Atlantean soldider first. Only time will tell, but this photo makes the theory look very promising!
