Fans have been hoping for months that the Justice League Blu-ray will feature a plethora of deleted scenes or some sort of extended cut but it was recently made clear that that's not the case. We did, however, learn that a scene not seen in theaters will be added in the form of "The Return of Superman." However, the running time for that has now been revealed and it could disappoint.
The sequence will run for approximately 1 minute, 52 seconds and that doesn't leave much time for us to see that long list of Superman scenes Zack Snyder shot which ultimately ended up being scrapped.
While the hope was that we might see the Man of Steel's apparent meeting with Alfred, it seems far more likely that it will simply revolve around the hero retrieving his suit and then deciding to assist in the fight against Steppenwolf. That's cool but also a tad underwhelming because there are so many deleted scenes from Justice League it now appears we're never actually going to see for ourselves.
