Jeff Sneider is making a habit out of sharing big MCU rumours on The Hot Mic podcast each week, and while many of them reiterate details previously leaked on the now-inactive r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers/ page, there was quite a lot to delve into in the latest instalment of the podcast.
We've already told you about Captain America: New World Order, but how about we kick things off with some new Thunderbolts intel?
The screenplay's first draft - written by Black Widow scribe Eric Pearson - was supposedly scrapped because it focused too much on characters from that 2021 release. Sneider also claims that The Walking Dead alum Steven Yeun is "100%" playing The Sentry in the movie.
As for Deadpool 3, it's believed that Succession star Matthew Macfadyen has been tapped to play a TVA agent. Josh Brolin's Cable and Zazie Beetz's Domino are both also expected to return.
There's some streaming news too because Wonder Man will reportedly see Ed Harris (Westworld) play an "agent and possible villain," likely Neal Saroyan from the comic books. This was a role we thought Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk had landed, so who knows what, if anything, has changed there.
Now, Jonathan Majors. The Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania star released texts yesterday that were meant to go some way in exonerating him, but arguably made the situation sound even worse.
Sneider believes Marvel Studios has met with the actor's agents, but haven't made any decisions yet. As well as appearing in Loki season 2, Majors was being eyed to star in Moon Knight's second season as well.
There are some interesting Victoria Alonso claims as well, including her poor treatment of VFX artists, clashes with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, and the fact that her work on Argentina 1985 was not really the main reason for her firing.
The plot thickens...
