ComicBookMovie.com has been around for a very long time now but over the past few years, we've also launched some additional sites in order to bring you the latest news on topics which don't necessarily have anything to do with comic books, superheroes, or even movies in general. Many of you are no doubt already familiar with them but here's a reminder about why you should take a look!

If you're a fan of comic books, there's a good chance you're also a lover of anime. The genre has really increased in popularity in recent years and Hollywood is finally starting to take note, hence why so many big and small screen animations are in the works. @ftf530 - Like @zeon00 basically said. If you have no interest, then there is no reason to force yourself to check them out. I basically visit/have an account on all the associated websites except for the sports one because I have no interest in sports.

Still though, it would be nice (and even a bit fun) to see more activity on those other sites comment sections.

I agree to an extent. I don't mind going to these sister sites but no one comments on them. Even when I do go, usually my job at work has them blocked, I access IGN for game news and this site for CBM or other related movies since they are posted here.

So if GameFragger has something interesting, the article is potentially blocked by my jobs server and so I can't access it. Unlike HERE, I can access any article without being blocked.

@ThatOneCBMGuy - No idea why they would block the smaller sites... I would think CBM would be blocked before any of the others because it's MUCH larger...

@NateBest - Hey Nate,

It only applies to CERTAIN articles. I can access the site with ease, but certain articles are blocked.

A Resident Evil 2 article was blocked
A few other shooter titles were blocked too.

Maybe cause of the content, I don't know but like you said you would think CBM would be blocked since it has MORE content that has a lot more reason for blocking. Especially the the comments section.

Or maybe our computer technicians are garbage, I'm more kin to believe they are garbage so please just say that lol.

I think a lot of us read the anime and game ones but no one interacts in the comments so we come back here lol

@SpideyPuffsMJ - Yeah, those sites do get the occasional comments (heck I made a few comments on those sites). The only one not as active is the cartoon one, but that also has interesting content.

Not sure about the sports one because I have no reason to visit that site since I'm not into sports.
