The comic which was published last year as a pilot season title centers on a well-known socialite whose public presence establishes a perfect alibi for the covert activity of his secret twin brother, who is a government assassin.
The feature is said to be aimed at replicating the success of "Wanted," which was also based on a Top Cow comic book, well very loosely based as if you've read the comic and seen the film will know.
"Alibi" was created by Top Cow president Matt Hawkins and Michael Renegar, also written by Joshua Hale Fialkov and illustrated by Jeremy Haun.
Alibi has the paranoia of 'Three Days of the Condor' with the action of things like the Jason Bourne movies!
Mandeville's David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman will be producing.
LEEE777 - Well sounds promising, though I hope they keep more to the comic than they did with "Wanted" for the fans. I really enjoyed "Wanted" but I'd never read the comic book. Once I did after the movie I could see why so many fans got upset!
Still waiting for "The Darkness" and those two "Witchblade" movies Top Cow! ; )
