Hot cyborg assasin Aphrodite IX, who achieves self-awareness and begins searching for her origins will be taken to the big screen, and in a 3-D format.
Three comanies are involved in the project: Threshold Entertainment, Platinum Studios (other movies in development from Platinum are "Atlantis Rising" and "Cowboys and Aliens") and Top Cow Prods. Now they looking for the best pick for the female lead role for the Top Cow comic character.
"This is just the kind of franchise we love: a visually stunning world, amazing effects, a great story and a hot, kick-ass babe in the lead," one of the co-producers said (who also produced "Mortal Kombat"). "What could be better?"
Another recent and succesful comic adaptation involving a hot and dangerous babe was "Wanted", starring Angelina Jolie, so that kind of takes her hot lips out of this project.. so, WHO else could pull off this role?...
