Soon to be adapted to film is the politically-charged graphic novel Atlantis, based on a war between humankind and the underwater dwellers of the kingdom of Atlantis. Platinum Studios and Gale Ann Hurd will produce the film. Platinum and Icarus Studios are also developing the movie-based online game.

Created by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg and written by Scott O. Brown, the premise of Atlantis is part of Platinum's "Macroverse" including "Cowboys & Aliens", which is being developed to film by Sony, and "Unique", which is to be developed by Disney and Touchstone Entertainment.
