Fox Searchlight has debuted the first trailer for the upcoming big-screen take on Daniel Clowes' (Ghost World, Ice Haven, Mister Wonderful) graphic novel, Wilson.

Woody Harrelson stars as the titular character, who makes one last-ditch effort to reconnect with his drug-addled ex-wife (Laura Dern) when he realizes they have a daughter together. The movie also stars Judy Greer (Jurassic World, Ant-Man, Tomorrowland) and Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm).

Check out hilarious trailer below, but beware of F-bombs.


Wilson is directed by Craig Johnson (The Skeleton Twins), and is set to hit theaters next March.

I think woody is a great actor. I generally like him in everything he is in. I think he knows his limitations and embraces his niche, kinda like Bill Murray.

Was enjoying the trailer up until the nonsense of her putting her child up for adoption and then suddenly him telling her that she had his child makes her decide to split with her new husband and go with him to try and look after that child?

There are just so many things wrong with that idea that it falls apart completely.

@Scarilian - yeah i am not sure how that will work, previews can kind of bend the story, or create a false narrative. I hope it works, i enjoyed the preview. Especially when he tells his daughter that her mom used to be a hippo too.
