i was in two minds weather to buy this or not,is it actually worth paying £9.99 a month for.

No it doesn't. Not at all. I've been playing it for more than a month now and there is still so much more to do on the horizon that I can't see this ever getting boring. It's really a lot of fun. While the character creation is a little bit limited, there are still enough options to create most any character you want. Of course my main character is Mar-Vell. They don't police the characters you create like City if Heroes does. If they did all of mine would have been denied because I get a kick out of using all Marvel characters in the DCU.

The just need to bring the subscription rate down to around 10 bucks a month and I will have almost no complaints. It's one of the better online games around.
