EXPENDABLES 3 Gets An Extended TV Spot - 'Heroes'

It's time to lock and load and join Sly, Statham and pretty much every other action movie star ever, for another instalment of The Expendables franchise. Check out the extended TV spot here.

It's been two years since The Expendables 2 exploded on to our screens and Sylvester Stallone has been busy recruiting even more muscled-up movie stars with a penchant for punching people in the face.

This time around, along with the returning cast, we'll get the likes of Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson, Wesley Snipes and Harrison Ford added in to the mix. Kelsey Grammer is also in there but he's never really been all that muscled.

This movie promises more of the same if this TV spot is anything to go by with guns, explosions, chases and action galour. There'll no doubt be some god-awful one-liners too but there's still no word on whether Ford will utter the line "get off my plane!" - we can only dream.

In THE EXPENDABLES 3, Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team go head-to-head with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), co-founder of The Expendables along with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and, after eluding Barney's attempt to kill him, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The Expendables 3 is directed by Patrick Hughes from a screenplay by Sylvester Stallone and Creighton Rothenberger and is due to be released on 15th August 2014.
