"We're huge Ghostbusters fans, and fans of '80s movies in general. It is sad that Harold Ramis (Egon Spengler from "Ghostbusters") has passed away at the age of 69. Thanks for giving us such quality entertainment and great characters."

Right in the feels. You can see more of Ninjaink's work at the link below.

RIP Harold Ramis. You will always be Egon to me, but your body of work will live on for generations. Everyone go buy Stripes, National Lampoons Vacation, Caddyshack, Groundhogs Day, and of course the Ghostbusters films. I think its time to play the fame again too!

Ppl said the same thing about Superman after Reeve's died, I'm sure. But, I think it would be more a testament to his legacy and a benefit tilo future generations if it the series lives on. Do all new stories and take advantage of the advancements in technology. The clasic movies will still be around and unchanged.

So to sound so heartless, but people really cry over a director that they didn't even know?

Valid point. I just think it's sad that someone died. Now, you won't see me crying over it, or doing the new main stream thing where you take to twitter and act as if you knew the person on an intimate level. But, it's sad, and I'll admit that and pay my respects.

MartianAbominationClone - If you´ve seen Ghostbusters for 100 times over the decades, you consider of the actors as your childhood friends.
