Pre-release 'Hulk' irks Universal
A spokeswoman for Universal Pictures, the Vivendi Universal (V: news, chart, profile) subsidiary, confirmed "a thorough investigation" is underway to identify how a rough cut of the studio's "The Hulk" made it onto the Internet last weekend. Distribution of the file resulted in numerous comments, some critical of the film, on Web sites including Ain't it Cool News. "The success of the movie is going to rest on the audience believing that the Hulk is real and clearly, it's not in this point," Drew McWeeny, west coast editor of the site told a reporter.
