In KPOPPED, East meets West when the biggest K-pop groups on the planet split into two teams and join forces with Western music superstars. Against a ticking clock, they must prepare and perform unique covers of iconic mega-hits, delivering spectacular collab performances, with a winning team crowned every episode.

The Apple TV+ series features K-pop groups BILLIE, Itzy, KEP1ER, JO1, Ateez, STAYC, Kiss of Life, and Blackswan. Western artists set to feature include icons like Patti Labelle, Spice Girls' Mel B and Emma Bunton, Vanilla Ice, Taylor Dayne, Kesha, Eve, J Balvin, Kylie Minogue, TLC, Boy George, Jess Glynne, Ava Max, and Boyz II Men.

Hosted by actor/comedian Soojeong Son (Servant, Search Party), each episode finds Western chart-toppers teaming up with celebrated K-pop groups to reimagine one of their biggest songs, culminating in bold, collaborative stage performances.

With just a short window to rehearse, these genre-bending partners deliver electrifying renditions for a live audience in Seoul, who vote for the standout "K-popped" performance of the night. After the song battle winner is determined, the K-pop Idols close out the episode with an exciting performance.

For Executive Producer Moira Ross, the inspiration behind KPOPPED was straightforward. "We wanted to create a fresh music show that celebrated and fused two worlds—East and West. It had to feel genuine to the world of K-pop and showcase the artistic exchange among great
global artists, all while maintaining a sense of fun and creative joy."

She added, "It’s not a traditional competition. These are world-class artists with Grammys and number-one hits. 'KPOPPED' is about collaboration over rivalry — though the face-offs definitely get spicy."

In this exclusive clip from the fifth episode, Boy George and STAYC visit Suguska Temple, and the singer expresses his excitement to visit such a historic landmark in Seoul, South Korea.

As a reminder, KPOPPED premieres on Apple TV+ on August 29.
