Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3

The following will be how I think that phase 3 will play out, I am writing this on 26th April 2013. I am from the UK and Iron-Man 3 has released, so I don’t know what Phase 3 will be, Im just guessing.

Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3

The following will be how I think that phase 3 will play out, I am writing this on 26th April 2013. I am from the UK and Iron-Man 3 has released, so I don’t know what Phase 3 will be, Im just guessing. Marvel President Of Production, Kevin Feige has said that Ant-Man and Dr Strange will pave the way for Phase 3, but I feel Dr Strange should be a November release, just because the first couple of Harry Potter films were released I the Fall and I personally feel that magic should be shown in the winter time, thats just me and that Thor should be a Summer Release. I know Daredevil rights have reverted to Disney, but I think Daredevil Should be Phase 4 that will lead up to a Defenders movie. I will not write fan plots or fan cast/crew of the movies. I just want you to know how I think Phase 3 will go. From what I know as of 26th April 2013.

Ant-Man November 2015



Thor: Blood Oath May 2016



Dr Strange November 2016



Captain America: The Black Panther April 2017



Guardians Of The Galaxy: War Of Kings August 2017



The Avengers 3: The Realms Of Kings May 2018

i reckon phase 3 you might be able to add daredevil & the incredible hulk 2.

@marvel72. Yeah I Think an extra movie in 2016 and an extra movie in 2017 would be good, but avengers 3 would have to be split in to two movies for everyone to get enough screen time and i don't think Joss or Kevin would split it into two movies

I think there's a high chance that they'll be an inhumans movie in phase 3, feige keeps name dropping them along with dr strange and ant-man

Like i said in the opening paragraph, I think that i am just speculating. Kevin has said that Ant-Man & Dr Strange will pave the way for phase 3. If Marvel are sticking to their 2 movies a year that would leave one movie more in 2016, I chose Thor 3 because it would have been 3 years since a Thor: The Dark World and that would be enough time to get a script ready. Then that leaves 2017, Chris Evans has signed for a 6 pic deal after avengers 2 he will have done 4 Movies so thats why i chose a cap sequel. I chose a 2017, because it would have been 3 years from cap 2 and there was a 3 year difference for cap 1 and cap 2. I chose the black panther story, because if Cap gets his shield destroyed in Cap 3, it would feel normal for the story to follow him to Wakanda. The last 2 i chose purposefully, because it would be a great way to tie GOTG with the Avengers Since GOTG will not be avengers 2. Hope I made myself clear LOL.

Elaborating:

Ant-Man

This would be a origin story set after the Events of the avengers 2. E.W has said that there will be two time time periods in the universe, one that will be set after avengers 2 and one in the that will be set in the 40s, the ant-man in present day might be an ancestor to Henry Pym and he would be Scot Lang. Post Credits scene would be Shield recruiting him for the avengers.

Thor: Blood Oath

I Chose this because, This is a very personal journey about Thor and how he reacts to his friends being "Framed", i just would like to see his emotional side lol.

Dr Strange

This would be an origin story, his character could start off as a cocky self obsessed Doctor, who has a life changing accident, and goes on a journey of self discovery, some scenes would be similar to Batman Begins like when he is going to the mountains, i can remember reading some comics and the doc was climbing mountains. But i trust marvel to make it more better, i would like the Director of HP3 to Direct it.

Captain America: The Black Panther

I chose the black panther story, because if Cap gets his shield destroyed in Cap 3, it would feel normal for the story to follow him to Wakanda.

I'm starting to think that the eventual Thanos-Avengers face-off will happen in Avengers 3 rather than Avengers 2, where he might just be pulling the strings again...

Just because it comes out the same year as Avengers 2 doesn't mean its phase 2. Where did you get that confirmed? I just read it was Phase 3 a couple days ago.

I understand you have seen iron man 3 but i honestly feel its too early to even assume what phase 3 will bring. wait till captain america to sepculate. iron man 3 so what i've heard is more of the final chapter to the first phase. so we have no real idea but there will be high stakes in phase 2. phase 3 we dont have a grasp on beaus eony one film of phase to has come out and only 2 films of phase three are coming out.


phase one had the overall theme of "what am I made of?, can I make a difference?" Isuch a beautiful theme in every movie.
