My scores may not be perfect, it is hard to be precise with this stuff, but this list gives you a good idea of what to watch and what to avoid. I should add that I don't go to the theatre often, so this obviously isn't complete, but I watch a dickload of movies at home. Never heard of it before? Google it! Unknown movies, like Coffee Town, can be good!
My scale is that I recommend movies 7 and over, but 4 and over is decent and at least worth your time. 3 and below I wouldn't recommend anyone watch. Also, be aware that I love comedies and I find opinions on comedies vary the greatest, so not everyone will agree with me.
So, movie of the year so far?

Man of Steel -> almost a 9 but some of the crowe hologram stuff was a little cheese and 1 or 2 jokes that were dumb (soldier tells general that superman is hot) but otherwise I loved this movie.

Star Trek 12 - Into Darkness -> same rating as the first, but I like this one slightly better for less use of future spock

Average score so far this year? 3.8. Ouch.
I admit I need to watch Iron Man - Rise of the Technovore and I did watch Batman DKR Part II before I started the rating system. I think it was around a 5 or 6.
