Rex Libris has Writers On Board

The Slave Labor Graphics comic book series Rex Libris is getting the big screen treatment via Warner Bros.

Warner Brothers has hired Mark Burton to write the live-action adaptation for the comic book series Rex Libris.

Currently in print, Rex Libris has 7 issues so far and is witten by James Turner. The story involves Rex Libris, a librarian who protects the worlds knowledge and dangerous secrets from falling into the wrong hands. Goons storm the library to mess with the Dewey Decimal system, they take a card from the catalogue to reveal a stack of secret books.

According to Variety, the films Producers are Mosaic's Charles Roven and Alex Gartner. Warner Bros. production exec Sarah Schector brought in the project.
