Oh wow that's sad... Teds been out for weeks and still knocked "TEH FIREZ RESIS" off its throne, good. This film isnt God.
A shot movie, I was a fan of Nolan now I am a dissapointed Batman fan.

But... Ted knocked TDKR?

Such a disaapointment. God it was horrid.

@Blueberry Agreed, I thought I had him mixed up with someone else when he started saying how hyped he was an is now disappointed, because all lead up was was never hyped and was sounding quite anti-TDKR.

love McFarlane's comedies, so I cant wait to see this

But I was disappointed Batman didnt have a couple more weeks at the top of the box office, but it doesnt matter, he is going to reach 1 billion dollars again and thats all that matters. Plus Batman and the Avengers will pretty much be equal for box office when you take out the extra money for 3-D. Im not a DC or Nolanite, Im just saying 3D does give Avengers an extra advantage

And in relation to the box office, Im really disappointed The Amazing Spider-Man didnt beat The Hunger Games or Ice Age. All it needed was another 80 million dollars!!! I am disappointed with that (Although at least I wasnt one of the people convinced Spider-Man was going to hit 1 billion dollars, that was a bit silly)

We could of have had three superhero movies as the top 3 highest grossing movies of the year (if Skyfall or the Hobbit didnt interfere). But nevermind, at least all three of the best comic book movies of the year made it into the top 5 (for the moment at least)

If you like Seth McFarlene's cartoons you will love Ted, if you don't love Seth McFarlene's cartoons you'll hate Ted.

I liked Ted, I found it hilarious, I never ever seen my boyfriend laugh so hard that he was crying.

To me, it was more entertaining than TDKR. But thats just me.

I'm actually hoping that Ted was the launching pad for more Seth McFarlene movies in the future.

I love vulgar humor. ;D

@dancingmonkey08 But you have to take into account that 3D sales listed for Avengers include IMAX because it was in IMAX 3D and TDKR has broken all the IMAX records so I say that makes them even since IMAX tickets are $2 more than standard 3D.

I can see Seth going down the root of them coping with a kid and TED in the sequel. Yes TED is a well used formula but who the frick cares as long as it's funny. Ok so toilet humour is not to ever ones liking but to those that enjoy Family Guy or American Dad they'll get a kick out of TED. For those that don't like FG or AD why the frick would you want to go an see a film by Seth Macfarlane
