The video is tough to watch. I was hoping to just skip every 30-40 seconds so I could just see your list, as I'm pretty familiar with a lot of scores, but every time I skipped it had to sit there and think about it.

Any way you can edit your article to simply list them? I saw the first two were Man of Steel and Iron Man, which I totally agree with.

I think my favorite superhero them right now is the one for Amazing Spider-Man. I enjoyed the movie immensely, but one of my favorite things about it was James Horner's music. Zimmer is tough to compete with, and Man of Steel may be one of his best themes. Especially since the stuff in Dark Knight is mostly mood stuff that isn't as much fun to listen to in the car as it is to hear mixed with action. My favorite of his may well be Sherlock Holmes though, who is more or less a superhero. :) Some of the themes on Thor are major standouts, as well as First Class.

Either way, these scores remind me that there are so many reasons to feel lucky as a comic book movie fan right now.

Thanks for Feedback. Yes, i can edit my article and i will.
I really love Amazing Spider-Man score too. I mean in movie soundtracks are best, but main theme was kinda short, but i hope they keep same theme in TASM2 and make it longer.

Im sure that there will be comments "TASM has worst score ever" "its teenager movie..." and kinda stuff. Haters are haters.
Im sure everyone has their favorite theme and some people not like my list, but as long nobody splashing is all good.

And if the first Spiderman series is any indication, I would assume Horner will be back for the ASM sequels as well. THat's probably my only complaint about the MCU films, the continuity. Not just the occasional recasting, but it's really nice when you have a main theme that can come back now and then for a character. Definitely a part of what's so enjoyable about movies like Star Wars is when you revisit certain themes in the score when a character shows up again, or even just the hint of that theme like in the prequels.

So, as much as some people were upset with the plot and such for Iron Man 2 and 3, what disappointed me most was the lack of continuity with the music. Well, and Terence Howard. And now THor 2 will have a different composer (despite being someone I've enjoyed the work of before), and I'm guessing Silvestri won't be back for Cap 2 and Avengers 2.

And back to ASM...yeah the theme is really moody, and I know people felt the movie as a whole was too dark, etc etc, but...I dunno, I just really loved the music. I didn't even mind that there was a part that harkened back to his work on Titanic, or the part that was similar to a piece in Wrath of Khan. The music was great, the emotional aspect of some of the pieces are beautiful...HAD to get that one.

The Man of Steel score was a little low on the list. But, cool list nonetheless.

Well, because 50% music was too quiet, and then when great music began, it was over. I mean really damn short. Good music for trailer.

@ruadh
Yeah, well yeah, every Marvel movies has always different main theme, kinda sad. I really hope Horner will be back. I don´t complain Horner, its good, he made Titanic and Avatar. His music is like kinda different.
For example, when in TASM had past scene, or boy in car(bridge), then it had dark and slow music, when he saw that boy in car, then it remind Young Peter himself. Well, when we saw Dr. Connors, he had this kinda sad music, and when he got new arm, then music is incredible. You can see video here:

And again, when we saw Spider-Man swining, it had really bright music and herotic. He did very good job.
I added Raimi Spider-Man theme top 1 because i love how movie begins, great opening with great music, fits fully. Also, this song is quite famous.

Honestly, I never liked the music for Raimi's Spiderman movies. I'm apparently one of the few non-Elfman fans out there. As soon as it started, I was too reminded of Batman.

Which I admit is really odd since I already admitted to enjoying even the bits of Horner's score that were similar to previous soundtracks he'd done.

The only music i liked in raimi spiderman movies is main theme, but everything else is kinda bad. Too quit, not good. It feels like raimi spiderman movies are without music, i watched those movies like 100 time, but i still dont remember any.
