f*ck me,exactly the same i thought throwing general ross in there would of thrown people off.

if shane black didn't f*ck the mandarin up,general ross wouldn't of made my top five.

Other than Loki, I really dislike most of the MCU villains, Obidiah and Whiplash were weak. I hated the Killian/Mandarin stuff. Red Skull also wasn't very good. Abomination was pretty cool, but overall the villains have been the weakest part of these movies, again, besides Loki, he's awesome. The phase 2 villains(other than IM3) look/sound great though, can't wait to see them in action!

I think some honourable mentions should go to the second string villains and henchmen roles...so I am gonna big those guys up.

I loved Zola - especially the dynamic between him and Red Skull. When ever the Red Skull was being particularly evil or terrifying it was Toby Jones as Zola that sold it to us. Really looking forward to seeing more of him in CA:TWS.

Raza from Ironman brought all the menace for that film. When he had Stark hostage I felt that was a genuine threat from this guy. He really tapped into all those fears about hostage taking in Afghanistan at the time.

Laufey from Thor was also a really interesting character and was keen to see more of him as the King of Jotunheim and leading the Jotuns. In fact I wanted to know if he there was a whole hierachy and royal family.

But my all time fave is Justin Hammer - if only for the performance of Sam Rockwell. Some of his lines were class and he also gets my vote just for that little dance he does as he takes the stage at the Stark Expo.

I agree with Bazing for the most part. Loki is awesome, and I really liked Red Skull, but the other villains were really lacking in being a threat to the heroes. I hope(besides IM3, of course) Phase 2 improves on the villains.
