@SoundWave

The movie is called Mystery Men starring Ben Stiller. It's basically the same type of idea as Kick-Ass, a bunch of amateur superheroes, though much less violent and more focused on comedy, but it's not very funny.

@tvor03 thanks. hm, I have watched "Mystery Men", good movie. Hank Azaria in this video was from that movie too, I remember Ben Stiller, but not remember The Waffler))) Time to re-watch.

"basically the same type of idea as Kick-Ass"
hm... Like "Kick-ass" I know "Defendor" and "Super", but in "Mystery Men" as I remember were some super-powers.

Did we watch the same movie called Mystery Man? They are average people but some do have special powers, also the movie was great!

When you realize the creator of Star Wars, George Lucas, made Howard the Duck. . .

@JoeMomma29

There may have been actual powers by some of them. It's been at least a decade since I last saw the movie, so I can't remember that clearly. I do know that the only reason I rented it was because questions about the movie kept popping up when I would play Scene-It.

@ Cipher

V for Vendetta was one of the best CBMs out there, but for some reason I always forget to put it on my top ten list!

I don't care what anybody says Howard the duck is a classic and a great movie.

They should have added handiman from in living color, if they had blank man and meteorman.

Some people in Mysterymen did have powers. They had the booster gold wannabe who had powers, but the movie focused on the bottom teir heroes that mostly didn't, or the powers sucked if they had them. The waffler wasn't part of the team, he came to the backyard tryouts.

when I first watched Ironman I wasn't to crazy about Tony just coming out and saying Im Ironman but I got to admit that was actually pure genius it set up the Marvel Universe perfect bc all the other Heros before have went through so much to hide there identities andStark was like frickit im Ironman. it shows his character especially if they decide to go the Civil Warsstoryline
