Screenwriters and director have been chosen for Wanted, a big screen adaptation of Mark Millar and J.G. Jones' comic book series, according to Comic Book Resources.

It was revealed at Wizard World last weekend that Michael Brandt and Derek Haas (2 Fast 2 Furious) have been signed up to write the script and Timur Bekmambetov (Night Watch) will direct the film.

The comic series focused on a young man who learns of his super-villain heritage and is introduced to a secret society of criminals that run the world.
