So now all the films have come out and the performances I feel for better or for worse speak for themselves. First let me say to those here who disagree with Magneto in this list let me explain. The end of "First Class" is really just a few minutes that we get to see Erik as a true villain when he's ready to lauch those missles back on the ships and gives his speech he is pure villain. My personal choice would be Loki in the clip below when he asks Thor if Jane has made him soft Tom delivers his lines with such intense maddening glee it's truly masterfull. I know he also sheds a tear but when you can sympathize with his character he isn't the awesome villain that I feel overall as good as anthing in "THOR" or any CBM to date, and with the Avengers in 2012 who knows if he'll be my pick but he'll definitely be on my list for next year. And the nominees are...

Christoph Waltz as Chudnofsky in "THE GREEN HORNET"

Tom Hiddleston as LOKI in "THOR"

Michael Fassbender as MAGNETO in"X-MEN:FIRST CLASS"

Kevin Bacon as SEBASTIAN SHAW in "X-Men:FIRST CLASS"

Peter Sarsgaard as HECTOR HAMMOND in "GREEN LANTERN"

PARALLAX in "GREEN LANTERN"

Hugo Weaving as RED SKULL in "CAPTAIN AMERICA:THE FIRST AVENGER"

An honorable mention to Mark Strong as SINESTRO in "GREEN LANTERN"
I wish I could put him in contention but no real time and perhaps never will get his true best villian status on screen, still great to look at it though.

Feel free to discuss I have a poll up to the left side of the page and I hope the clips chosen do a good job of making each actors case for being the best or not, thanks for reading. Thanks for the reminders on Shaw and Chudnofsky @gamecreatorjj and @ToeKneeManGo

MAGNETO becomes a villain by the end of the movies so we don't see much of him as a villain so I would have to go with Loki.

red skull only looked cool and sound cool but he sucked, he lost two military basses in a weeks to escaped prisoners, and don't get me started on what happened on that big air plain by the end of the movie, he never really had a plan.

Tom Hiddleston did an amazing job showing that even though loki was the god of mischief, that he was hurt and sad. you got to really see loki develop with the little screen time he had and see where that internal pain took him and why he became evil.
