Del Rey has announced the author who will be writing the novelization of The Punisher...

"GREEN LIGHT FOR PUNISHER NOVELIZATION
The official movie novel for THE PUNISHER will be published by Del Rey in March of 2004. The author for the novelization is D.A. Stern (DARK ANGEL: The Eyes Only Dossier). The Artisan Entertainment film featuring the Marvel Comics character is scheduled for theatrical release on April 16, 2004, and stars Thomas Jane, Rebecca Romaijn-Stamos, John Travolta, and Roy Scheider."
