Anne Dudek cast in "White Chicks"



Anne Dudek has booked the role of Tiffany Wilton in the Wayans brothers' "White Chicks" for Revolution Studios. The character is a socialite-heiress who falls under the protection of undercover cops played by Shawn and Marlon Wayans. Dudek is repped by Innovative Artists and Industry Entertainment.

Elliot Cowan has been cast as the young Ptolemy in Oliver Stone's "Alexander the Great." The senior Ptolemy will be played by Anthony Hopkins. Cowan, repped in Los Angeles by Laura Berwick of Hofflund Polone and in the United Kingdom by Samira Higham at ICM, starts training for the film after he finishes a run of "The Seagull" at the King's Theatre in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Caprice Bourret joins Vinnie Jones and Brad Renfro to star in "Hollywood Flies" for director Fabio Segatori. Bourret, known around the world by her first name for her work as a model, will play a small-town girl who breaks away from the world of exotic dancing and embarks on a journey from Las Vegas to Los Angeles surrounded by psychopaths, starlets and hit men. Bourret is repped by Nadja Koglin of Richard Schwartz Management.

Maeve Quinlan has scored the lead in the indie feature "The Drone Virus," directed by Damon O'Steen. In the movie, based on the book of the same name, Quinlan will play an oncologist who teams together with a radical commodities trader to try and solve a series of mysterious cancer patient deaths. Quinlan, who next appears in Larry Clark's "Ken Park," is repped by Harold Augenstein of Peter Strain and Associates and manager Dede Binder of Artist Only Management.

Keith David will reprise his role as Abu al-Walid, aka Imam, in Universal's "The Chronicles of Riddick." He also has nabbed a lead in "The Big House," an ABC midseason show. In the show, David plays the uncle of a displaced nephew who moves into his home and to whom he has to adjust. David is repped by Joseph Rice at Abrams Artists and managed by Josh Silver at Sneak Preview Entertainment.

Arden Myrin will play opposite Liam Neeson and Laura Linney in "Kinsey," the Bill Condon-written and -directed biopic about Alfred Kinsey, who wrote "The Kinsey Report." Myrin will play part of a newlywed couple that seeks the advice of Kinsey, played by Neeson. Myrin's credits include appearances in "Autofocus," "What Women Want," "Bubble Boy" and "Deconstructing Harry." She is repped by Paradigm and managed by Steve Caserta at Sanders/Armstrong.

Steve Braun has bitten into the role of Wilson Hale, one of the young hotshot FBI agents who track down Blade in New Line's "Blade: Trinity," written and directed by David Goyer. He recently wrapped shooting "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" for New Line. Braun is repped by Tiffany Kuzon at Evolution and by Lesa Kirk in Canada.

Jason Stuart has joined Faye Dunaway, Sean Young and Shae Alexander in director Steve Freedman's indie drama "Kill Switch." He portrays a Geraldo Rivera-type talk show host who ambushes Dunaway's character on his popular show. Stuart will then move to another indie feature, "A Day Without a Mexican," directed by Sergio Arau. Stuart, repped by manager Bonny Dore of Bonny Dore Entertainment, is best known for his recurring role as a gay shrink on ABC's "My Wife and Kids."
