Before Jon Bernthal cracks skulls as Frank Castle on season 2 of Daredevil, we'll be getting a new comic book incarnation of the infamous vigilante courtesy of writer Becky Cloonan and artist Steve Dillon.
Comicbook.com debuted the variant cover to issue #1, and also have an interview with Cloonan, in which she teases her plans for the character by stating: "If you are a criminal, the Punisher is basically Jason Voorhees."
