Brad Pitt Would Love To Work With David Fincher On 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA

Killing Them Softly star Brad Pitt comments on the possibility of reteaming with director David Fincher on Disney's 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea adaptation, saying that he'd "love" to do it if his schedule allows it.

Not too long ago, we heard that director David Fincher was seeking frequent collaborator Brad Pitt to star as Ned Land in his anticipated remake of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, which is an adaptation of the classic Jules Verne novel. Walt Disney Pictures are currently trying to decide whether or not to greenlight the movie, and Fincher isn't pursuing any other projects in the meantime. Now, speaking to MTV while promoting his latest film, Killing Them Softly, Pitt is asked if he would be interested in 20,000 Leagues. Not surprisingly, he's very much into working with Fincher for a fourth time (after the two worked together on Se7en, Fight Club and The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button).

"I’d love to. I mean, he’s my man. He’s got a great take on it. That’s just gonna be about schedule and time allocation, but he’s my man."

Pitt is currently working on reshoots for Paramount's World War Z, but after the zombie action thriller and Ridley Scott's The Counselor, he doesn't have a clear choice for his next project yet. Here's hoping that Disney do greenlight 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.
