While many were expecting a new trailer for Alien: Covenant, 20th Century Fox has decided to do us one better by releasing a very cool prologue film instead, introducing us to the entire Covenant crew, including their fearless leader Capt. Branson, played by Academy Award-nominee James Franco.
Unsuprisingly, there aren't any Xenomorphs featured - but the nearly five-minute preview does contain a clever reference to the original 1979 sci-fi/horror classic that should bring back plenty of fond and terrifying memories, as well as hopefully get you more than excited for what director Ridley Scott has in store for us his May.
