Come Check Out The "Last Supper" Prologue Film For Ridley Scott's ALIEN: COVENANT

In lieu of a new trailer, 20th Century Fox has surprised us with a wicked five-minute prologue for Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant, titled "The Last Supper," which introduces us to the ship's crew.

While many were expecting a new trailer for Alien: Covenant, 20th Century Fox has decided to do us one better by releasing a very cool prologue film instead, introducing us to the entire Covenant crew, including their fearless leader Capt. Branson, played by Academy Award-nominee James Franco

Unsuprisingly, there aren't any Xenomorphs featured - but the nearly five-minute preview does contain a clever reference to the original 1979 sci-fi/horror classic that should bring back plenty of fond and terrifying memories, as well as hopefully get you more than excited for what director Ridley Scott has in store for us his May.

Check out the "Last Supper" below:

I have high hopes for this. Should be better than Prometheus right? Since their going the full "Alien" route

I have a friend who went to the test screening of this film awhile ago.

He said it was good, albeit some of the characters needed more fleshing.

Actually I don't remember if he said the characters were underdeveloped, or some.

I'm always intrigued by how films interpret realistic group dynamics. Individuals who are a team of some sort; close to family. Especially, in these type of situations where everyone is enjoying some sort of downtime/bonding time. Joking around, chilling. I always ask myself how naturalistic it seems.

Why they released this? I don't like it.
