KONG: SKULL ISLAND Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts Does His Own Honest Trailers Critique

Fresh off his Twitter takedown of CinemaSins, Kong: Skull Island's Jordan Vogt-Roberts teams up with the Screen Junkies and does his own hyper-critical "Honest Trailer" for his giant-ape film.

How does a 100-ft tall giant ape have the inescapable ability to sneak up on someone?  That and more questions are raised in the opening moments of Screen Junkies' Honest Trailer for Kong: Skull Island. But then the video is interrupted by none other than Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts, who's not here to defend the film but point out some less-than-obvious missteps.

In a direct reference to his now infamous row with Cinema Sins, Vogt-Roberts states that you can criticize his films all you want, just have some merit behind your critique.  However, there's one thing Vogt-Roberts won't admit is a mistake, no matter how many facts refute his stance.  Watch the video below to find out what it is.

Haha that was good. Props to him for doing that after his little outburst toward them a few weeks ago.

I enjoyed Skull Island, but to me Godzilla was just a bit better.

@L0RDbuckethead - His outburst was toward cinemasins, not screen junkies.

@HowlettCommando - Oh, I see. For some reason I thought they were one and the same. My mistake.

As a huge Kong Fan i didnt really love the movie but thought it was ok. My main issue was the design of Kong I didnt like how he walked on 2 legs as often as he did he was a bit too human for me. I am looking forward to seeing the Godzilla Vs. Kong movie tho i think the prospect of that is the only reason I didnt dislike this more. Cinematography was amazing tho

Why's this guy so whiny. It's a blockbuster monster movie people are gonna point out its flaws. Its not gonna be your magnum opus.
