New ALIEN: COVENANT Images Feature David, A Neomorph, And A Potentially Huge SPOILER
Here we have three brand new stills from Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant, one of which might just reveal what became of the mysterious Engineers that were introduced in the last movie...
Empire Magazine has now officially released the new Alien: Covenant images from their latest issue, and they come with a bit of gore and a potentially major spoiler.
The first pic features a mysterious figure (we're going to assume it's actually Michael Fassbender's David from Prometheus) unleashing a swarm of pods onto The Engineers' home planet. We're not sure exactly what outcome that's going to have, but it can't be anything good for the giant, pale baldies.
The next still gives us another glimpse of David, this time alongside Peter Weyland, and finally, we see one of the terrifying Neomorphs chowing down on a hapless Covenant crew member.
“Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the ‘synthetic’ David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.”
Alien: Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Demien Bichir and Danny McBride, and is set to hit theaters on May 19, 2017.
